Mini Biography:
Vladimir Kraus Rajterić was a Yugoslav and Croatian composer for television series and films. In the period between 1943 and 1948, he studied music privately with the composer Ivo Kirigin. His work as a composer is almost exclusively related to film and he almost always wrote for large musical ensembles, presenting himself as an exceptional connoisseur of the orchestra. His traditionally written scores are often based on musical folklore. In addition to a large number of documentaries and animated films, he had composed music for 16 feature films by 1972. He was also a long-time music director in the sound studio of Jadran Film.
